Amidst large and high-proifile
protests around the airport, the Heathrow third runway debate
comes to a head. Brown decides in favour, despite many dissenters
on his back benches, and including several cabinet ministers,
it is rumoured (Benn, Miliband minor and Harman). They all cave
in when Jumbo Brown comes in to land. Sustainable environmental
policies, anyone?
