Bankers, from the less careful end of the market, whose banks have all been bailed out by the taxpayer and whose jobs have now mostly gone the way of their investors' money, appear before the finance Select Committee. They don their best contrition suits. They apologise profusely. Gee thanks. But they do get to keep their nice bonuses, houses, yachts and lifestyles...unlike the thouands who have lost their jobs because of this gross negligence.
