Victory for the Ghurkas!
Brown's proposals to limit the immigration rights of ex-Ghurkas
to settle in Britain are defeated in the Commons due to a back-bench
revolt. This is only the fourth such reversal since the 1997
election. Cameron and his side-kick - Lib Dem Clegg - take the
credit.
