Snow covers the land.
The usual chaos reigns. Transport grinds its wheels ever more
slowly. There is a shortage of grit, apparently. Meanwhile Gordon
Brown issues a rallying call to Labour MPs by setting out his
election strategy and telling them they can defeat the Conservatives;
"We cannot and will not fight the election on small ideas
but on big ideas," he says. Ed Balls denies falling out
with Alastair Darling over strategy. It's all going downhill
rapidly.
