Hunt says there is likely to be less scope for tax cuts in the March Budget than planned (and trailed). He wants to "lighten the tax burden" to help grow the economy. But this had to be done in a "responsible" way, announcing that "major structural weaknesses" in the economy meant there was less headroom for tax cuts. Quel surprise!
